In Georgia closings most always take place at the office of the attorney the buyer has selected. In the case of distressed property sales, the bank owning the distressed property may specify the which attorney he will use to close. Additionally the buyer may engage his own attorney to represent him during this same closing. The closing will take place when the lender is ready and before the contract termination date. The attorney will schedule a time to close after consulting you, your REALTOR and your lender.
