Did you know first time buyers with little cash can get a zero-down mortgage under the little known program being run by the U.S. department of Agriculture—-if they are willing to buy a home in a “Rural” area. The definition of “Rural” is not a “Rural” as you think. Parts of Walton, Hall and other counties just outside the downtown areas may & usually qualify. there are some other rules, such as: your income may not exceed 115% of the median in your area and you cannot own a home when you apply for the loan.
