Congratulations to Gwinnett County! You won the Eli & Edythe Broad Foundation’s top award for being the nation’s TOP large urban school district for work done to narrow the achievement gap among minorities & the poor. The award constitutes a $1 million dollar scholarship program for as many as 50 Gwinnett students and they don’t have to be the top students according to Sloan Roach, spokesperson for the Gwinnett School System. Apply for a Broad scholarship at:    www.scholarshipamerica.org/broadprize  Students can also apply with their guidance counselor.
